24th Phuket King’s Cup Regatta

Much of the action for this year’s regatta was on the beach with 12 yachts being swept ashore on the last day. Image Asia’s Grenville Fordham was kind enough to supply us with this report and the accompanying photos. Fordham who runs Six Senses Phuket Raceweek, builds composite catamarans and is treasurer of the ACYC has been instrumental in the development of yachting in Thailand.
The 21st Raja Muda Regatta

The Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta (RMSIR) is a challenging offshore sailing race, consisting of three overnight passage races, some 240 miles in total, plus two days of harbour racing in Penang and Langkawi. It attracts a large variety of yachts from IRC1 racers to slow classic cruisers dating back a century.
Yacht Haven Marina
